Potty Training

We started Potty Training several weeks ago; Memorial Weekend 2009 is when we committed to focus on Preston and getting him potty trainined. Karen also was working on this as well. However, it's been a great experience... at first Preston would resist and make that cute little sound...... but then after working on this... good news would come from Karen that he was notifying her when he had to go. He was also doing the same here at home. Amanda is home for summer vacation, so she has been working with him too. Well, he is started wanting to go potty and I was so proud of him that he would tell us "you guys wait here" and he'd go take care of his business.

Yesterday, June 18, 2009; was a huge step as Amanda called me and told me he wore his underwear all day with no accidents... that is huge. Preston was so proud of himself too. As he would tell us "I go potty --- two times". He also makes the cutes comments... "Me Potty - Mommy and Daddy Happyyyy!!!" Seeing him being proud and hearing the news from Amanda made me feel very proud of him, not that I am not already, but he is getting there... And often no wet diaper in the morning either.

My baby is becoming a big little boy now! :)
